even that will be allotted & out of ab.t 500 persons he has had 35 deaths from Scurvy & want of proper food & the people are naturally exasperated - 

 I attended the first Quarter Sessions held here the chief trial was a man for manslaughter - I assure you I never saw Sessions carried out with more decorum or more satisfactory to all parties than these. The Jury was most respectable & took a strong interest in the case & the Chairman took the evidence & [indecipherable] in a most judicious [indecipherable] manner - Thus beginning at a [indecipherable] will settle
