Port L'Eshenault, [Leschenault] since that another with a fine winter anchorage has been visited by the L.t Gov.r Roe round Cape Leeuwin & not far from King George's Sound & a fine sail down to the Sea; but the interior is a fine grazing country - The Gov.r has sent down ab.t 50 Settlers there of respectability & goes there himself in Oct in the Sulphur-

The present state of the Colony is more settled & less apprehensions of want of provisions than when I wrote to you last - including three Ships of war the men [indecipherable] sent to
