   Wed April 1st  We enjoyed a feast of fresh fish last night, the result of Hugh's angling operations in the creek Shortly after leaving camp Fred and I went up onto a low table mountain of sand-stone rock, I took several bearings. We got several new species of plants.

  3 miles further we crossed a fine creek. also several small ones, all running with clear water. We then crossed the spur of a rocky porphyritic range
