   The others were mustered to the yard at about 3 oclock in the afternoon, and we then commenced to pack our nags for the first.  ^time   Durack came to see us off, and Mick Byrne came over to the camp to assist us, at 4:30 our baggage train of pack horses were all loaded, and our steed saddled, we sallied out across the plain. Harry Pinadhy the blackfellow lead - the way and we all following in Indian file. I remained behind for a short time to set-tle accounts with Byrne, and to say good bye to the ladies
