Brisbane House North Shore Sunday
Dear Mrs. Onslow
On my return I went straight to Banksia - Uncle Phillip was very kind & has taken great trouble in looking through and examining all my accts; he did not blame me in any way for my present disagreeable position, nor did he find fault with my expenditure, but he still adheres to his resolution that I am not to pay what I at present owe, but he will pay the necessary expenses for the next three months or while £200 lasts (there is no use arguing the matter with him
[In margin] did not do the damages you anticipated. With my love and thanks for your kindness
I am Yours very truly W Macarthur
