Sunday night

My dearest Elizabeth,

I have to write you a long letter

and will from cold cough
and [indecipherable] that I have just off and today I have heard just nothing!

I learnt like to keep t
he letters from the children
& will write to you again

for you my dear. I think
you know the Uncle in
yr daily life I can well understand, that dear child was against [indecipherable] to you where you niece to send [indecipherable] God
