church, but soon I trust I shall be ale to go. I am so sorry now that I did not write long ago to ask Mama whether she and Papa would object to be the godparents for our little one but it is too late to ask now and it would not be right to name them without their consent, so I must be content to find someone else. We have had two floods since I last wrote; one in March, the other in April, but neither of them were high enough to do a great deal of damage, but quite enough
