Dearest Mother, I am just going to drive into town with Susan to enquire about a Cook. Many thanks for yr letter rec'd  this morning. It is a pleasant day. I spent the morning at Belisario's & he will quite have done by Saturday.

Our legislators are hard at work over Estimates
