From the look out there, Bellevue, a glorious view of the bay of Naples, of the country, & of old Vesuvius (or Vesuvio in Italian) was spread out before us. We took afternoon tea with the auntie of one of the chaps, Cpl Harvey Dark of Melbourne, meanwhile enjoying the same glorious view only from a less elevated position on the hillside.
Another trip we made was by tram along the hill sides to Cap about three miles up the coast.
The Bay of Naples is very beautiful with the hills
