                                                   Diary 1919                                          
 Following the Armistice & my "buckshee" trip to Paris for four days, I had been detailed, on December 11th, 1918 for duty at our (3rd) Divisional Headquarters. This was for duty in connection with the accounts of the various funds & financial interests of the headquarters and other units of the division. Each unit had a regimental trust fund for purchase of extras for messing, for odd expenses, for paying claims for damages, for providing sports, etc etc, & it was only necessary to see that this account & the vouchers (or bills)
