Early in February, the Divisional Headquarters were moved to Blangy-sur-Bresle from Oisemont.
Blangy is a larger town, having a few industries as well as being an agricultural centre.
These industries are due to its situation on the River Bresle, a fast running valley stream which provided the power for the saw milling which is carried on extensively at Blangy and also for the bottle manufactories. British army saw mills were also located here but these were run by steam power. They were thus handy to a timber district, for the heights around are
