were scattered through the town. The "G" Staff which dealt with active operations and were now very slack, the "Q" staff which dealt with administration and supplies were housed in the upper room of the town hall. I worked here till the "Q" staff was moved into the new Nissen Huts of which I took a snap. The huts were very cold to work in. We kept a Canadian camp stove going in each by means of firewood and coal taken from the AASC dump which happily was alongside.
