M. for he had seen before he came there the Lord sitting on his throne & all the host of heaven standing before him, a throne high & lifted up with seraphims & cherubims, & thousands of angels, & the whole Earth filled with his glory, as fiery stream issued & came before him while thousands & ten thousands ministered unto him. M had seen the glorious sight, & could behold the scene before him without wonder & without fear. He felt the Lord of Hosts with him & the God of Jacob was his refuge, from him he derived his courage & strength, & he knew he would be a present help in trouble.
After the view M had of the throne & heavenly attendants of the Lord of Hosts, how poor & insignificant was the scene of Ahab's court to his Eye. O my friends this is the lesson we
