Campbell Town April 27th 1875

Mrs Macarthur

Excuse the liberty I take in writing you these few lines to day the 27th of this month it was a quarter past eleven when I arrived at your residence with the Mattress.  I began to work at that time until half past five not having a minute to spare you call that half days work the time I asked you for the money you gave as an answer I had dinner at your place when the servant called me to dinner I objected to have dinner.

Those prove I consider the ten shillings very little.  I made a valuation on your dinner Six Pence you gave me.
