us, & who is always the same & never changes though all in the world does change - I wish I could feel this strongly myself - I can talk to others & so comfort them with what is surely the truth, but what is so difficult to arrive at & to realize to one's own peace of mind & happiness -
Dear Mary! She is gone to where we do not see thro' a glass dimly - or she is perhaps in perfect rest, whichever it is, I trust both she & your dear little Emmy are free from all care & [indecipherable] suffering - how one does long to know where our loved ones who are gone are - I console myself with the thought that if we do not understand earthly things how could we understand if our saviour had told us heavenly things as he said to Nicodemus - but it seems to
