My dear Frederic
I cannot send Emily's letter without a line from myself. Your extraordinary silence has indeed pained us all more than I can tell you, & is [Indecipherable] to anything like retaliation, our

[indecipherable] object has been to rouse you to more vigorous action. There is one omission in the letter respecting wh you will feel a friendly curiosity I doubt not. Our poor departed Sister was buried
