Liverpool, because we are allowed to hang around the peninsula outside camp from
9.30am to 5pm. The schedule is as follows:
8am Coffee
9am Roll-call
9.30am Gates open
1pm Lunch
5pm Gates close, roll-call
5.30pm Dinner
10pm Lights out
After morning roll-call almost everybody rushes outside, either to fish, although so far with limited success, or to read, etc and also to dip into the ocean during the times allotted for it, 11am-noon and 3pm-4pm. The surf near the mole is fabulous and to sunbathe in the hot sand afterwards is extremely beneficial to our health. We are all rather tanned already and our stay here will no doubt improve our health. The climate, the blue sky, everything reminds you of the Riviera, and flowers, palm trees and fruit seem to thrive here
