31/8/16. Three days ago the war took another momentous turn, because Italy and Romania declared war on Germany, and the latter on her allies as well. With Italy we’ve been at war since the beginning, even if a formal declaration of war did not occur until now. We have raised this dishonest macaroni pack for ever, because where would they be without Prussia’s help in 1866 and even in later years. For years we have been close allies and at the first opportunity to show its loyalty, it opted instead for neutrality and now even switched sides.
