They couldn’t have treated a pack of wild animals any worse than they did treat these Germans, many of whom had been residents of Hong Kong for many years. We cannot allow ourselves to ever forget such inhumane treatment! Hopefully, the time will come when we can avenge such ignominies.
20/8/16. Since the outbreak of war the British had drawn up so-called black lists of German, or reputedly German, companies in various countries and warned against trading with them. Recently, updated and extended black lists appeared in the newspapers that included the United States of America, Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, Cuba, Peru, Paraguay, Greece, Netherlands, Dutch East Indies, Norway, Persia, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Japan, the Philippine Islands, Portuguese East Africa. That is, in countries that not only are neutral, but in part
