country - for everything was getting too forward - The old have felt the winter very much - we have just heard of the death of my old Aunt Mrs Forbes at the age of 91 - she has long been dead to her friends - & so one does not pretend to much feeling - but I dare say her daughter Helen is sad enough at her loss for she loses her house as well as the object of much care & thought. This event involves troublesome mourning & I am very [lazy?] about replenishing my [Indecipherable] stock as well as very unwilling to spend money. I suppose we shall remain in this place till the beginning of April when Mrs Lirriper raises her rent then we shall pack up every thing send the pictures to [Indecipherable] & the rest of our goods to the [Indecipherable] & travel about until near the time of our leaving England - We are very busy meantime looking

gratitude he publishes a pamphlet that may benefit others similarly circumstanced I man to buy it for the benefit of Australia. Walley is really reducing himself very much by following the regimen.
Feby 26 - Dear Wm my wits are gone we have had a sort of [fidget?] all day it ended just now [Indecipherable] [Lehellan?] Libby & Gerry marching off to see the [Indecipherable] Mormans - Lehellan & Gerry come back for dinner * go to the play after - I don't know what they will do without Gerry - & he [too?] leaves there now
