I Amelia MacArthur wife of James MacArthur Esquire formerly Amelia Stone Spinster Do hereby Declare and acknowledge that I have from time to time subsequently to the time of my marriage with the said James MacArthur and down to the thirteenth day of June December now last past duly and regularly received and been paid Interest at the rate of Ten per Cent per Annum upon the Sum of Ten thousand Pounds Sterling mentioned and comprised in my Marriage Settlement bearing date the thirteenth day of June 1838 and in a certain Indenture of Mortgage executed by my said Husband on even date therewith
