is over, but you cannot think how very warlike the people of England are - they cannot bear Lord Derby for having kept us out of war - they abuse him in every way - say he drinks very much - I dont believe it - I suppose the ministers are proof against abuse, for I am sure each by turns has a plentiful share of it, & they are very good patiently to go on serving their country conscientiously & doing all the good they can in that way. 
We are  very happy here for by turns we are always seeing our children. Ned's wife Eleanor has just been in. Mary & Charley were here after dinner last night, & we saw both Fred & Phil during the day & I took dear Libby a long drive - her little dear Baby (mine as he was born at our house) - is settling in but curses with the pain of cutting his teeth - so that
