stupid & bad time of it at Fiji & I should not wonder if she soon came home with her children - I believe it hardly pays the expences he is obliged to incur -

I hope dear little Georgie is better
Dear Bessie - very likely any other treatment would have resulted in the same thing - we cannot tell - & must try to bear what what we have to bear without reproach - which almost always accompanies & adds so much to the bitter grief of such a loss as dear Bessie's - but time will  smooth all her sorrow without her knowing it or thinking it vile tho' the vacant place in her heart will remain & will be soon filled up as it was by the loved & los  one who is gone - one sees as life goes on & ones dear children grow up
