My dear Emily

Philip who came home on Tuesday Eveng brought me your good news that Evening but I am very glad to get your note and particulars.  I am thanking dear Elizabeth is so well.  I felt a little anxious lest her

which was a comfort to all. Gastric fever in easing [Indecipherable] her complaint.  There is much illness about. Mrs Lawson still lingers but no hope of any amendment.  She's very happy & wants to depart in Peace & I hope.
