My dear Mrs Macarthur,

Pray accept my best thanks for the Dorking Eggs which I received the day they were despatched from Menanagle.  I had one broody hen & placed one clutch under her the same day.  The other has been similarly disposed of since.  I have hatched eggs three weeks old and up to 20 or 22 days.
