to make it for Christmas.  I intend fitting her another Petticoat as soon as I can pay for it.  She has learned to do many things since she has been with me - but requires a great deal of telling - and is not as attentive as I could wish, for her own sake, sometimes shows a little Self Will - but I talk to her, and hope she will in time make a useful Girl.  She is not at all of a sulky temper, as she soon forgets a Scolding - is quite well and seems happy - I am truly glad to have her for were she not with me I should
