9 th June.

Since I wrote the above I have been worse and in bed but I am now up again and gradually gaining strength and in three weeks hope to be myself again.  May is not to be married until the 6th or 7th or 8th of July and probably at Bromley.

I have heard from Mr. Cunningham he thinks a factor should get £500 for going out as a salary. he knows a Mr. Gardner of first rate Character & abilities who would undertake the duties of such a place he thinks if his
