quite bewildered sometimes at all these changes. I suppose it is all tending to some great & wise End unseen by mortals, & very trying at the present time - I long to hear the news by the Chusan but am afraid I shall get no letters, it being via India - my sisters will not think of writing - I had a letter from Isabella today -
