[Following on from the horizontal section on page 40]

from Mr Macalister last night from Clifton. He, to add to the Chapter of accidents was thrown from his gig by the horse coming down near the Stone quarry & tells us he is a good deal hurt but says not how - so I should hope it was nothing very material. Mr Anderson was so much better that he drove him to Goulburn Rhyana on Thursday or Friday last & John and he were to commence their homeward

Septr. My friends were all well - one from Edward came this morning dated 2d Octr. He is full of political business.
