of energy has every appearance of a complete forgetfulness of old  & I should hope really valued friends - I will tell you now candidly our purpose of my writing to you - it is to ask you to go to Camden to be with dear William - I think it would improve your health - & at the same time it would be a great relief to both James & me to know that he had a companion - our post is here - & I see not any probability of our being much at Camden for some months to come - The first weeks of affliction pass very
