My dear Mother
I had a very good trip down there were only 3 passengers all the down and Jack got out at Strathfield. I quite forgot that tin of honey but the Doctor could not have carried it up the Station as the car was packed with luggage. I paid the coach driver that 12/- shall I put the other 3/- in the bank as I have not put Mr Darlot's 2/6 in yet. Aunt Katie is going to give me the money for the seeds and will charge it to you. Aunt Katie has got the net she paid 12/- for it, it would not quite fit the sugar bag but Aunt Katie can stick it up in scrim and send it. It is about the waight of my basket, when shall we send it. I did not go to school yesterday but I got Geof to get my lessons. I am going to work hard this term. I have got young pigeons and 3 old ones 2 old ones are flying about outside now. Please give my love to Father, Hal and Freddie with much love to yourself
