has mended them for me and you absolutely cant find where they were torn, especially my best. I have not been able to find the tare yet in them. This afternoon the Walkers and Miss Atkinson are coming down for tennis. Cousin Annie and Jocelyn are not going away. I am sorry always writing my letters in such as hurry but, you know, things do hum so that I never have any time.
Sunday   All the foregoing is bosh. Sam is coming out today and if he remembers to post this by Tuesday it will go alright. We are not going to the Doyles but may go sometime this week. I got two letters from you yesterday afternoon, one saying stay another fortnight, and the other one a cheque for £1. Received with thanks from (L). Would it do to take a job till shearing I mean would it be worth it to learn engenering as I did not go to Hawkesbery [Hawkesbury Agricultural College] or anywhere. I dont know whether I ought to have said anything about it to you but it might be a chance for me to learn something which I many not get again. I wont say anything about it till you reply of course, and if you want me at home just say so. I hope these's no harm done. On reading this over Don't think I am mad on going because I only want to do what's best and I mearly surgest this
