[Letter from Kate Hales]

Lyttleton, Mosman
Friday evening

Dear Mollie
I ought to be in bed - but I want to write a line to pass the time of - well night. I have been putting away & packing drawers with statuettes, etc & making inventories. I have come to the conclusion, that I wont go away again! it is such a worry [indecipherable] for one person. Rob was very weepy this evening, & Bertha says she hates to think that this is our last night together - however, I tell her she has only to make up her mind to come back. Poor old Mrs Hungerford is much the same, but always a little weaker. Miss M. Hungerfor took charge last night
