Aunt Katie sends her love to all.
Dudley goes to school now & he is quite a man. I ate one of those apples in the train.

My dear Father,
I had a lovely trip down, there were only eight people all the way down. Harry told me when Charlie [indecipherable] went down the person who was going to meet him did not turn up. I had to carry my basket up from the whaf this morning as none of the shops were open. Aunt Katie said to ask would you wrather that Mr Yarnold should send the bills to her so that she can over look the books. Uncle Fred said to thank mother for that apple but he said he would have to give half away. Mrs Nicholl gave me a little packet of Daites raisons and biskets and a lot of almonds beside those which you gave me. Is your back getting better I think I will be comeing up on the 17 of June. The [quater?] began on April the first. Good bye Please give my love to Mother , Hal and Freddy

Your loving son
Rob
