My dear Father,
I had a lovely swim yesterday. Last Thursday we had life saving drill in the water, Charlie jumped into 12 ft of water, and he can not swim, he went down & then came up & a boy went to help him but Charlie was so frightened that he accidently kicked him in the face, & he had to leave him, then another boy came and he had to leave it  then Charlie went down again & a big boy dived in & got him out. He was so bad that two boys had to squash the wind out of him.

Have the dingoes bean tutching the sheep. Has the rain braught the crops on well.
Was it Ranee that the Bull  killed and was it Taffey it tried to horn.  As Mr Yarnold has been orded rest at once. so we break up on Friday 13th at 3.30. So shall I come up by Sundays  nights train, and catch Mondays coach out.  If I come up Sunday night could Hal & Fred be down to meat me on Monday
