My dear Mother
When I got into Mudgee on Saturday I went straight round to Dr Nicholl's but I found they were down at the school opening a tennis court. I went down to the school and waited about but could not see anything of them so I went back to see if they had gone back but they had not so I went round and waited till 10 to 6 and then ran round to tell the maid that I was not coming. I took a piece of beef stake that was like a stone and it gave me intergestion most of the night. I had to lean against a post for ¾ of an hour till the Mosman boats started to run. Aunt Katie and I went to the train on sunday night and posted the letter at the box and then found it was 10 minits late so we asked the Post Master to post it on the train but he did not know weather he could so we sent a PC. and posted it on the train. Please tell Hal & Freddie that they should only put a few leaves in each morning. While the silk worms are small they should put a piece of paver [paper] in the box and few leaves on top. In the morning lift out paper and leaves very carefully and put a nother piece of
