My dear Father
The Saturday before last I went rowing with Mr Probst. [Probest?]. He is the starter of a sailing club. We row out at about 2 o'clock and start the race then row about then judge the boats coming in. Last Saturday I went out again and when we got home I steped out [of] the boat and picked up some luggage & walked up the landing, the boards on it were about 4 in apart and I fell through and bruised my knee and cut it a bit, it did hurt. I was going to write this in ink but I cant find my pen. I got Mother's letter yesterday. Aunt Katie expects Uncle Walter on Monday or Tuesday she does not know how long he will stay. The honey is lovely, tin leaked a little at the lid & the lable was very hard to read. If Joan gives you more than one photo could you send me one. We have carpentering this afternoon
