[Written by his Aunt to his mother on back of previous letter]

Tuesday morning,

Dear Mollie,  I was so relieved when your card came this morning, I had been feeling so anxious the last few days, as the last news I had heard had been nearly a week ago through Beatrice, then you were troubled because Hal would not eat.    I am on my way to town on busines - shewed Francis the note & he will leave it for Rob to read at dinner time

Rob is all right - he was home 3 days - the first were perhaps necessary, but I thought he might have gone to school after that, He had a severe shaking, nothing more. for I watched him carefully and got Fred's opinion too. he is like Lorna, he is [nervey?]

To night I am letting him go to a magic lantern lecture on India in Syd.  Mrs Wilshire is taking her children & asked Rob. Mr. Francis & Fred & I are going to the Phiharmonic concert on thursday - the creation.

I wish I could have taken Rob , for I think he could appreciate it - but it would be bad for him to be out so late & would upset his school work.

I heard lately from Olive Goodwin - her mother is very ill indeed.

I am so sorry I forgot to write to Frank for his birthday.

I have a new Maid in -  as a stop gap - any rate. She is older than Daisy & I can leave the house in comfort - there used to be too many followers for my taste [indecipherable]

Love to dear Hal   Good bye
Your loving sister
Kate Hales
