My dear Mother
The class that I am in has been moved into the sixth classes. When I first went there we were five c and we have got up past 5D, 5E, 5F into 6A. I will be learning latin again after Easter. Under sixth class is counted the lower division of the school and over sixth is the uper division. The school hours before were half past nine to eleven and a quater past eleven to half past twelve and two to four. Now we can go in at nine and come out at half past ten and drill till a quater to eleven and go in again at eleven and come out at half past twelve and the half past one to four. I went over by the twenty past one boat to meet Aunt Katie on the Saturday before last and had to stand in a crowd till half past four.
Wednsday
I forgot to post this letter on Monday. I like being in the sixth form we got swiming on Thursday morning. I am going to start learning latin again tomorrow only a few boys in the class are allowed to learn it and I am not supposed to as I am not going to be a Loyer or something like that but Mr Dice is going to let me. Aunt Katie is looking very well and seems to have liked her trip very much. Please give my love to Father, Hal, and Freddie, with much love to yourself.
I am your loving son
