My Dear Mother
I went to Jack and Jill last Saturday afternoon with Aunt Katie. It was lovely. Old Mother Cobble who lived in a shoe was funey. She was going fishing and somebody asked her if she was the lamp lighter. It rained hard all yesterday , so we were kept in till 2 and then got a half holiday. It is raining now. Mrs Allworth asked me to ask you too send down a [14?] pound tin of honey as soon as possible, at once. Firth Fraser asked me to tea last night, Max and Charlie were also asked. We had great fun. I think we are going to join a troop with the Whipbirds. We are going to get a scout master, and we shall be the head patrol in it. Uncle George is building a shed on to his tool shed for Geof and Dudley to sleep in  Lord Dudley's son has joined the Walleroos, a patrol we allways used to go with. Please thank Freddie for his letter, and tell him he had better get the wallibys to help him in The Guard of honour for me. In 4 weaks time I shall be coming up. Please give my love to Father, Hal, Freddie and yourself.

I am Your loving son
Rob Wilson Esq
