Mosman

My dear Mother
I went for two swims yesterday down at Clifton and I went down to the Spit this morning. I can swim about ten yards out past my depth. I do not like our new master at all his name is Mr L [indecipherable]. Mr Shaw left left our school on Friday, he has gone as master to the Sydney prep. school. Are Lorna and Mardie comeing up for the Easter Holidays. I am going to let my pidgeons out next Saturday, they are very friendly. Uncle Fred is going to get a dog from one of the  masters at school, it is a cross between an Irish terrior and a collie. It has been very hot today so we are going to church tonight. I often sleep out now on Friday night, I had tea over at Terlarah and after tea I made toffy and eat water mellon. On Saturday afternoon Uncle Fred rescued a girl out of the breakers, he was stanting on the beach when he saw her in danger, so he through off his coat and went in & got her out. I came 10th in the
