My dear Mother
How is your ear. We got down safely in the train there was no threw carriage so we got into one that was hardly room for people to sit         each other.  The Magpie is well I lent him to Aunt B to eat their snails which he is very good at, he got away from Aunt B the other day and nearly every body in Orlando Av turned out after him Uncle Fred got him on top of a shed.

I went into town the other day and got 6 yards of 2inch wire netting 4 feet high and am building a yard in the corner for maggie, as soon as he gets tame I am going to let him go.  I got the boots in Mudgee they are size four and have no toe caps  I also got a pear of slippers.

I am not moved up in school, Mr Robinson takes my latin class instead of Mr Mendozar. I wrote for the silk worms. How is every thing getting on, have the foxes tuched the sheep.

give my love to Father, Hal, and Fred, and much love to your self.
Your loving son
Rob
