My dear Mother
Did you get out alright and how is Taffy?

I saw Mr Miller today.  I walked today to see Mr Reeves and out to the back of the house & back to the verandah.  I am sitting on the verandah now.  Last night after you left we watched the people go home from the Show.  Dr Nicholl came rather late this morning about 10 o'clock.

Hal is getting on very well, he was only tearful for a minute or two after you left then he was alright; the Dr [contd]

PS Hal says to tell you, you can stay longer if you like that he is alright.
