My dear Mother and Father
Are you getting better and will you come down soon.
it is raining again now and it was raining yesterday evening.  I am sending up two drawings that i put thred roun, Uncle Fred drew them The bowl is for Hal and the dog is for Freddie, do you [know?] the horse standing on its hind legs that Phidias drew on in stone  Uncle Fred saw it in the English meu[seum]  and he drew it form me and put thread round it  he also drew me a young lady sitting on a horse with the rains in her hands, I am
