My Dear Mother
The school breaks up on Thursday week, shall I come straight up then? I had a lovely time at camp on Saturday. we had sentry till about 11 thirty. We camped down near a blackfellows hut and in the morning he went out in his boat and go us a lobster. On Wednesday I went into town to be in a guard of honour to Sir Harry, there were 160 scouts there, they all had to be over [4?] feet 9 inches, we marched down onto the wharf and when the boat had gone we marched back to the Domane and had our photos taken. Please thank Hallie and Freddie for their letters. Give my love to father and Hallie & Freddie.

Your loving son
