My dear Mother
I had a lovely day yesterday, I went with the patrol to the Manly Water water works we marched through the streets down to the Spit, and went across in the punt and marched out by Frenche's forest. When we got to the water works we went down to a pond below it and hat dinner, after dinner we had a swim in the pond it was fresh water. When we were going home Max and Geof le Quisne went on in frunt and I marched the boys all the way to the Spit. This afternoon I went into town to post two letters at the railway. On Friday evening I went to Freda Allworth's party and I played games and danced up till aquater to ten and then hat supper and came away. Tuesday I went in and got a pair of danceing shoes. Aunt Katie is going to teach the Telarah children and myself danceing. Aunt Katie might take me to the Merchant of Venise on my birthday. Mr Haris [indecipherable] sent a bill for 12/6 shall Aunt Katie pay it. Aunt Katie got some letice plants and I have been putting them down. We had our 1st Xmas exam yesterday it was an English exam. Please give my love to all and much to yoursefl.

Your loving son
Rob
