30 March 1908

My dear Mother,
Can I go up with Uncle George, I will not miss much school, and we do not have any examinations. Uncle George wants to see the country and he wants to come by the day train but he does not whant to have to spend a night at the hotel so could Father come in in the spring cart and cart us of all out that night and besides we might not be able to get a seat in the coach if we come up by Sunday night's train
