My dear Father
Last Saturday we us & co went for a picnic. In the morning Uncle Walter, Telarah minus Uncle George, Miss Hungerford Mrs H Hungerford little Amy Hungerford who has to be carried, Headly [Hedley] another kid and myself took a boat at the Spit and rowed over to the other side. At dinner time we rowed back and got Uncle George and Aunt Katie, We had great fun down there. In the evening Vida Sams had 3/- worth of crakers [ crackers] and we let them off around hear. On Sunday I went to church at St Clements and wheeled Amy there and then stoped to dinner at Nohovel and played with Amy all the afternoon. Aunt Katie & Uncle Wlater went to Mr North Ashe's church in the morning. I got yours and Hal's letters this afternoon. Please thank Hal for his and your self for yours.
