I enclose some samples of the English Merino flock now in the possession of Capt William F.Campbell
Capt. W. F. Campbell Harewood Park Ross. Herefordshire
I went to see them on Monday. It is about 25 miles from here.
A very small flock only about 50. His father Finlay sold most of them in S Africa & present owner tells me they have all gone there.
The sheep were just shorn & suffering from poor foot rot & fly & did not all look pure bred & smaller than ours & cutting fleeces about 5 & 6 lbs
some of the wool had been woven & shewn at Wembley
