The production of fine Wool is increasing in the Prussian dominions, but the Consumption is also rapidly increasing. -  Russia is obliged to buy Wool to a considerable extent, for her own Manufacture.

The English bought but little Wool last Summer in Germany - that is to say, little in comparison with preceding Years. Mr Meyer sent Samples to Leeds, but found he could get better prices at home, than in Yorkshire, where he had always previously sold his wool.
